Rudy Giuliani Suspended From Practicing Law In New York For Making False Statements About The Election, Donald Trump Comes To His Defense

Rudy Giuliani's law license has been suspended in the state of New York.
Donald Trump's former lawyer will no longer be able to practice law in the city he one-time served as mayor of, and it's partially due to his association with the controversial ex-President.
The Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court handed down the verdict on Thursday, announcing it was "immediately suspending" the 77-year-old's license.
The ruling comes in response to the New York Bar Association's complaint against Giuliani, in which they demanded his suspension.
The Appellate Division said the Bar Association "has sustained its burden of proving that respondent made knowing false and misleading factual statements to support his claim that the presidential election was stolen from his client [Donald Trump]."
