Snoop Dogg Slapped With $150k Lawsuit Over Viral Instagram Video

Snoop Dogg is being hit up for $150,000 in federal court.

According to court documents obtained by Breaking Celebrity News, a company called Freedom News TV (FNTV) is suing the 49-year-old rapper for copyright infringement.

The company says they make their money by licensing the rights to photos and videos. They accuse Snoop of posting a video they won on his Instagram. The video in question was a clip of a protestor scaling a building in New York City.

In court, the company says they saw the video on Snoop’s Instagram on April 3. They admit they didn’t register the video for a copyright until April 9. The video in question is still up on Snoop’s page. ‘Dummy of The week,” he captioned the post.
