The Star Wars fandom is one of the biggest, widest reaching and most generationally inclusive in the world...and the galaxy...and the universe.
And over the course of three days this summer (Tuesday, June 29 to Thursday, July 1), diehard fans with deep pockets will have the opportunity to bid on over 100 original pieces in an impressive 1,300-item collection worth over $6.1 million as part of Prop Store's Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction in Hollywood, California.
Breaking Celebrity News can exclusively report that Carrie Fisher's heavily annotated original script from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980) will be among the available items and is estimated to sell for anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000.
But if Princess Leia is not your jam, you will also have the opportunity to get your hands on the original (and working) light-up remote control R2-SHP from Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker (2019) – that is, if you have $80,000 to $120,000 lying around.
"We are incredibly excited to be offering Carrie Fisher's original shooting script from The Empire Strikes Back, which offers a unique glimpse into the actress, and future script doctor's, thinking when working on the film," Prop Store COO Brandon Alinger told us. "From that piece, to original lightsabers from Revenge of the Sith, and even a working R2 droid, we know Star Wars fans will enjoy their time bidding along this year."
