Wendy Williams has reportedly been rushed to the hospital, hours after the talk show host's team revealed she had contracted Covid-19 even though she was allegedly vaccinated.
According to The Sun, NYPD was called to Wendy's high-rise apartment building in New York City on Tuesday to assist a 57-year-old female who needed "psychiatric services" and matched her description.

“There was a call for a 57-year-old female who needed psychiatric services at the address on Wednesday morning. They were transported to the hospital," a spokesperson for the police told the outlet.
A photo shows an ambulance outside the apartment complex with its siren lights on; however, cops would not confirm if the woman who needed assistance was Wendy.
Hours before the alleged incident, Wendy's team revealed she was suffering a "breakthrough" covid case and announced the new season of The Wendy Williams Show has been pushed back.
"While continuing her health evaluations, Wendy has tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19," the statement posted to her Instagram read. "To allow Wendy time to quarantine and fully recover and to ensure that our production abides by all SAG/AFTRA and DGA Covid protocols, we expect to begin the 13th season of The Wendy Williams Show on Monday, October 4th."
