Tense Dinner Date: Hilary Duff Caught With Ex Mike Comrie Amid Shocking Rape Scandal

Hilary Duff was spotted having dinner Wednesday night in Beverly Hills with her ex-husband Mike Comrie, after the NHL star was accused of raping a woman multiple times in his home last month.
Is this dinner date a bad idea?
Duff and Comrie looked serious and somber as they left Il Pastaio restaurant after dining together.
As Breaking Celebrity News readers know, Comrie is currently under investigation for sexual battery by the Los Angeles Police Department.
"There is an investigation of an alleged sexual battery involving Mike Comrie," a Public Information Officer for the LAPD told Breaking Celebrity News. "No other details will be released because of the type of investigation."
The officer declined to confirm if police have questioned Comrie, 36, regarding the alleged incident because of the "nature of the case."
As Breaking Celebrity News reported, a woman alleged she met up with Comrie at a bar last month night and later went to his condo in West LA, where she claims the famed athlete raped her multiple times. Immediately after, the woman claims she went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where a rape kit was administered.

Meanwhile, Comrie, who was married to Duff between 2010 and 2016, confessed to having sex with the woman, but continued to insist it was consensual.
Her mother Susan defended her ex-son-in-law exclusively to Breaking Celebrity News, saying that he is a “great guy” despite the allegations against him. This question is: does Hilary still think he's a "great guy"?
