Johnny Depp sent his fans wild at Comic-Con when he appeared as his character Gellert Grindewald from 'Fantastic Beasts.'

He made a fascist type speech and waved his wand at the assembled crowd saying 'magic blooms only in rare souls'.

However, he quickly left the stage before his ex-wife Amber Heard appeared for a panel talk with the cast of 'Aquaman' soon afterwards..

Breaking Celebrity News reported that Depp seemingly put down his gaunt appearance to false allegations made by Heard against him.

Many fans were outraged Warner Bros scheduled Depp and Heard to appear at the same event after she accused him of domestic violence.


Depp, 55, will star in the upcoming 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald' after J.K. Rowling sided with him despite Heard's allegations against the star.

The actor was well received by fans when he appeared at the panel conference to promote the movie at Comic-Con.
