Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Lamar Odom in 2013, only to drop it after his October 2015 overdose. But even though they've been getting close again in NYC, Breaking Celebrity News has learned he's about to get his revenge, by filing for divorce from HER! Odom, 36 made a miracle recovery after his life-threatening overdose and Breaking Celebrity News has exclusively learned that he has decided he is finally ready to divorce Kardashian, 31.
"Lamar is making amazing progress," a source close to the former Los Angeles Lakers star told Breaking Celebrity News. Indeed, he travelled to NYC for Kanye West's fashion show at Madison Square Garden Thursday night.
"He has decided that he wants to be in control of his life, and that means divorcing Khloe finally," the source explained.
His wife was by his side after his drug and alcohol-fueled disaster at the Bunny Ranch in Las Vegas, and she dropped their divorce so she could make medical decisions for him while he was incapacitated.
"Lamar was completely unable to take care of himself after Vegas," the source told Breaking Celebrity News. "And he welcomed Khloe's amazing help. But he's a lot better now, so he wants to be independent."

Recovering near Kardashian has immensely helped Odom, but the source told Breaking Celebrity News he doesn't want her in control anymore. "Lamar feels like he can make his own medical decisions now," the source said. "He has a strong team around him and he knows he is going to continue to get better.
