The lovebirds married at the home of a friend and Victoria knew tragic actress Sharon Tate.

Tragically, in 2010, Vetri shot her husband believing he was Manson after suffering anguish over the death of her friend Tate.

Vetri and Tate became best friends before she was savagely murdered by Manson and his crazy followers.

Fortunately, Rathgeb survived the shooting with a bullet that was meant for Manson.

The couple got divorced in 2016 but she would still write to him and send postcards from prison.

It is understood that Manson's remains will be scattered in the grounds of Corcoran State Prison where he was housed until he died.
