A former child star who worked on Charles in Charge with actor Scott Baio has come forward with claims he suffered being âabused dailyâ while on the show. Click through Breaking Celebrity Newsâs gallery to find out more.

Alexander Polinksky made startling allegations on social media, writing, âFor 30 years, Iâve held in the embarrassment and shame of being abused daily on the set of Charles in Charge. I had to watch other children be abused, as well.â

Polinsky claimed he dealt with âphysical, mental, verbal & sexual abuseâ and âsuffered and witnessed on the setâ sketchy behavior. He has also noted that his âabuser thought he was above the law, above morality and beyond judgment. F**k the pedos, the abusers and the sleazy womanizers!â

Though Polinsky didnât name Baio as the culprit, Baio refuted the charges anyway, and told The National ENQUIRER in an exclusive statement: âUnfortunately, I have no idea what incident or incidents Alexander may be describing.â

âI am told by my advisor that the only appropriate venue for reporting these crimes is a special bureau set up by the Los Angeles police department, and we will be in touch with them shortly to share this article,â continued Baio in the statement. âI urge Alexander to contact them directly, as they investigate many such circumstances quickly and with sensitivity.â

Former Charles in Charge castmate Nicole Eggert publicly showed her support for Polinsky â and hinted who could have been involved in the allegations of impropriety when one fan tweeted her and asked why she too hadnât spoken out on if Scott Baio had abused her. âOh, I have!â she responded in a tweet of her own, since deleted.

âYeah, there was some flirting,â Eggert once confessed of working with Baio, who she reportedly lost her virginity to when she was just 17. âYeah there was some messing around when I was, like, 16. And donât forget, he was in his 20s!â We pay for juicy info! Do you have a story for Breaking Celebrity News?
