A former child star who worked on Charles in Charge with actor Scott Baio has come forward with claims he suffered being “abused daily” while on the show. Click through Breaking Celebrity News’s gallery to find out more.

Polinsky claimed he dealt with “physical, mental, verbal & sexual abuse” and “suffered and witnessed on the set” sketchy behavior. He has also noted that his “abuser thought he was above the law, above morality and beyond judgment. F**k the pedos, the abusers and the sleazy womanizers!”

Though Polinsky didn’t name Baio as the culprit, Baio refuted the charges anyway, and told The National ENQUIRER in an exclusive statement: “Unfortunately, I have no idea what incident or incidents Alexander may be describing.”

“I am told by my advisor that the only appropriate venue for reporting these crimes is a special bureau set up by the Los Angeles police department, and we will be in touch with them shortly to share this article,” continued Baio in the statement. “I urge Alexander to contact them directly, as they investigate many such circumstances quickly and with sensitivity.”

Former Charles in Charge castmate Nicole Eggert publicly showed her support for Polinsky — and hinted who could have been involved in the allegations of impropriety when one fan tweeted her and asked why she too hadn’t spoken out on if Scott Baio had abused her. “Oh, I have!” she responded in a tweet of her own, since deleted.
