Gillian Anderson stunned onlookers with her skinny appearance while attending the AFI Awards in Los Angeles on Friday night. Anderson, who plays FBI special agent Dana Scully on The X Files, appeared skeletal at the awards show. Plus, she unveiled a new short bleached blonde hairdo that she paired with large black glasses.
The actress' shiny, dark navy dress was cut low in the back, exposing her bony form.
Anderson cut a gaunt appearance on the red carpet, as her strappy sleeveless dress revealed super slim arms. Also, she's no longer a redhead.
The star was seen looking gaunt in her bikini this summer while on vacation in Italy.

Anderson reunited with her X Files co-star David Duchovny to bring back the cult favorite show in 2016.
The X Files, which originally ran from 1993 to 2002, made Anderson and Duchovny, who plays Mulder, a wildly popular TV team. Fans never gave up on the show and it came back for season ten after a 14-year break in 2016.
