Caitlyn Jenner says it's harder to be a Republican than a transgender woman!

The reality star made the claims while speaking during a breakfast Q&A at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday.

Jenner has spearheaded a mission to get LGBT rights recognized by the Republican party, even once calling herself the "trans ambassador" to Ted Cruz.

The I Am Cait star trekked to Cleveland this week to speak at a gathering hosted by pro-LGBT conservative group, the American Unity Fund. Jenner highlighted how, in the world of Hollywood, being Republican is less accepted than being transgender.

"It was easy to come out as trans. It was harder for me to come out as Republican," Jenner said, according to the Associated Press.

The event, held in a tent outside of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, allowed Jenner to be forthright in her views against the Republican party. She said this year's GOP stance was "downright hostile" to LGBT concerns, according to Variety.

"I want to help the Republican party in so many ways," Jenner said. "I think our best move to get back to a constitutional government is in the Republican party. I won't give up hope on it."
