Melania Trump refused to help her husband Donald by doing an interview in the wake of the Access Hollywood tape scandal, Breaking Celebrity News has exclusively learned.

The First Lady of the United States was allegedly "seething" in the aftermath of the audio tape's release, where the president was heard making vulgar comments about women to former Access host, Billy Bush. Bob Woodward made the shocking claims about Melania's reaction in his new book, Fear: Trump In The White House.

The audio tape was released in 2016, one month before the presidential election. Woodward claimed that Trump's campaign team scrambled for solutions after they feared his bid for POTUS was ruined. It was Kellyanne Conway who suggested that Trump sit down for an on-camera interview with 60 Minutes, alongside his wife, Melania, 48, and daughter, Ivanka, 36, according to Woodward.

"Melania Trump had come down and wandered behind the sofa where Conway was proposing they sit," Woodward wrote. "It was clear she was seething."

Woodward claimed Melania told the group she was "not doing that," and "dismissively" waved her hand in the air.

"No way. No, no, no," Melania said, according to Woodward.

At the time, Woodward claimed that POTUS's former chief of staff, Reince Priebus, encouraged Trump to pull out of the race after the story went viral.

"You either drop out right now or you're going to lose in the biggest landslide in American history and be humiliated for life," Priebus said, according to the book.

Also in the book, Woodward claimed that Donald once gave advice to a man on the topic of being accused of "bad behavior" toward women.

The president's advice to the unidentified gentleman was to "deny, deny, deny," Woodward wrote.

As Breaking Celebrity News readers know, Melania has remained relatively quiet during her new role as First Lady. But in May, she underwent kidney surgery and was released from the hospital.
