New details have surfaced regarding Farrah Fawcett’s son Redmond O’Neal’s arrest for allegedly robbing a convenience store at knifepoint.

According to The Blast, the store O’Neal, 33, allegedly robbed on May 8 at 3 a.m. was a 7-Eleven in Santa Monica. He made out with $60 cash.

O’Neal was arrested for the alleged violent theft. Now, a good samaritan is being praised for catching him in the crime.

Employees told The Blast that Redmond was spotted “casing the joint for hours” and even purchased a Slurpee before the robbery.

However, Fawcett’s son did not go under the Breaking Celebrity News. Employees claimed to the outlet that another customer witnessed Redmond “acting suspicious” and called the cops before the robbery took place.

Cops were on the phone with the customer when Redmond allegedly "pulled the knife on the store clerk and demanded cash,” The Blast reported.

According to the report, Redmond allegedly made out with $60 cash before the police arrived. No one was injured during the incident.

An LAPD spokesperson confirmed the incident to Breaking Celebrity News on Wednesday. The spokesperson told Breaking Celebrity News the clerk was “in fear for his life."

This isn’t O’Neals first run-in with the cops. As Breaking Celebrity News reported, the late Charlie’s Angels’ star’s boy has a history of drug and legal troubles. He has had multiple arrests, and spent a year in prison after being found guilty of drug charges. 

Redmond was transported to jail Wednesday and is being held on a $50,000 bail.
