It's the moment of truth! For years, James DeBarge has claimed that he and Janet Jackson secretly fathered a love child that was given up for adoption. And now, Breaking Celebrity News can exclusively reveal that both he and the woman claiming to be that secret heir have completed a DNA test that will settle the story once and for all!
"I've waited for 31 years," Tiffany Whyte told Breaking Celebrity News. "I want to know the truth."
As Breaking Celebrity News reported, Philadelphia native Whyte claims she is DeBarge and Jackson's long-abandoned child.
"It is for sure that James and Janet are my parents," Tiffany insisted.
Janet, 50, has largely dropped from the public eye since welcoming a son, Eissa, with Qatari businessman husband Wissam al Mana in January.
As for James, 53, he said he was ready to start the next chapter – with or without Tiffany. "I don't like speculating," he said, explaining that he was ready for the scientific verdict.
But if the results came back positive, he said, he was ready to welcome Tiffany into the family.
"I'm not going to push it on her," James told Breaking Celebrity News. "I still don't know what to do. I'm still kind of feeling this thing out, how to be a father to a stranger."
Said Tiffany, who grew up in the Pennsylvania foster system, "I'm pushing for 100% from my father. You're 100% James DeBarge's daughter! I'm rooting for that."
"I always wanted a father," she continued. "Always wanted a dad. I would like for James to be a part of my life."
Breaking Celebrity News can reveal that both Tiffany and James have already completed a top-secret DNA test. The results will be released here on Breaking Celebrity News next week.
Until then, Whyte remains hopeful.
"At the end of the day God has the final say," she said. "The truth will be revealed."
