John Mellencamp’s son Speck Mellencamp was arrested for public intoxication and resisting law enforcement in Indiana during the early morning hours of July 16, and Breaking Celebrity News has exclusively learned that cops caught the troubling incident on video.

Speck, 22, “had blood all over his face,” and “would not cooperate or provide information on his injuries,” according to the police report obtained by Bloomington's Herald Times.

The report said Speck, Mellencamp’s younger son, was “very belligerent and uncooperative" with the officers and paramedics at the scene and with officials at the hospital.

His older brother Hud, 23, told the officers that the fight began when a group of guys were “mouthing off” to him and his brother and that an unknown male had beaten him up, according to the report.

Hud had an “abrasion on the left side of his neck and a small cut on the right side of his nose,” but he was released by the police after giving them a statement about the fight.

According to the Herald Times, the brothers were charged with felony battery in 2013 and Speck spent “eight 12-hour days at the Monroe County Jail.”

The Bloomington Police Department told Breaking Celebrity News that all of their officers wear body cameras.
