Can Keeping Up with the Kardashians be saved? As ratings continue to plummet, Breaking Celebrity News has learned that Kim Kardashian cooked up a new baby storyline in a last-ditch attempt to boost ratings.

In last night's episode, the 36-year-old wife of rapper Kanye West and mother of North, 3, and Saint West, 1, confessed that she is considering surrogacy to have another child. But an insider told Breaking Celebrity News it was all for show.

"Kim's new baby storyline was developed by Kim, Kris and show producers very recently as a way to save the show," a Kardashian family insider claimed.

And, according to the source – all of it was added into last night's episode last minute!

As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, Kim's momager, Kris Jenner, 61, is having a complete meltdown over the fact that season 13 of KUWTK is the lowest-rated season ever !

And she's sweetening the deal to make Kim get back to work making fans tune in.

"Kris offered Kim and Kanye several million dollars a week if they can get the ratings up," the source told Breaking Celebrity News.

"She knows that Kim is the last hope of saving them from cancellation."
