Maddie Ziegler learned from Abby Lee Miller that everyone is replaceable – and that includes her former dance teacher! Ziegler continued her war of words with the Dance Moms star by slamming Miller for her tough-love teaching approach.

“I’m really glad that I did move on from that, and I did learn a lot from her and we did have some fun times,” Ziegler, 14, told People. “But I feel like now, I’ve never been happier in my life.”

She added how competing week after week left her “stressed” at only 11 years old.

“A trophy doesn’t mean anything,” she said.

Ziegler was so traumatized by her experience on the show that she refuses to watch old episodes.

“We lived through it, so I don’t feel like we have to watch it, and that was just so much drama that I don’t want to see it again.”

Despite the downside of dancing for Miller, 50, she did admit that it wasn’t completely negative.

“I learned a lot of lessons,” she said. “I had the craziest time when I was with her and on that team.”

As Breaking Celebrity News readers know, Ziegler slammed her former mentor in her tell-all book The Maddie Diaries: A Memoir.

“I did a lot of crying in those early competitions,” Ziegler wrote. “My nerves were really bad because I felt so much was riding on every single number we performed. If you watch me in the wings, you’ll always see me biting my nails. I put a lot of pressure on myself, I didn’t want to disappoint anyone – my teachers, my teammates, my mom, our audience.”

The dancer-turned-actress even praised her new mentor, singer Sia, throughout the book.

“Before I met Sia, I would say yes to a lot of things I didn’t want to do,” she penned. “Because I thought I had to – I didn’t want to disappoint anyone. I’d be overwhelmed by the amount of work on my plate. Sia always tells me you have to have time off, step back and appreciate the moment.”

Miller has not promoted her former student's book on social media.
