Meghan McCain and Ana Navarro got into a heated argument on The View Monday but Breaking Celebrity News exclusively learned that the fight exploded off camera after the show ended.

Tempers ran high when McCain and Navarro were discussing the government shut down on air, but behind the scenes it got even worse.

“When the show ended Ana walked up to Meghan, put her hand on her shoulder and said ‘Hey, Meghan listen’ in an effort to smooth things over,” an insider snitched to Breaking Celebrity News.

McCain wanted nothing to do with her and shouted “Get away from me! Don’t talk to me!” the source spilled.

A rep for McCain denied any off-camera confrontation.

“Meghan left the show quickly as she was late for a doctor’s appointment, but that was it," the spokesperson told Breaking Celebrity News. "She absolutely did not scream at her.”

Earlier in the show, Senator John McCain’s daughter had gone head to head with the Republican strategist on the broadcast.

“I understand that DACA is a very emotional issue at this point, but most Republicans are on my side on this one, Ana,” McCain said on the show.

“And I just don’t — it’s really difficult for me to understand sometimes why you still consider yourself a Republican.”

Navarro replied: “Because I’m a Hispanic, immigrant Latina.”

While Whoopi Goldberg tried to diffuse the conversation, Navarro blamed the Republican Senate Majority Leader for not funding the military with the shutdown.
