Megyn Kellyâs Today show is under fire!
As Breaking Celebrity News has learned, a fired NBC staffer is blasting the network executives for allegedly harassing and bullying their employees!
According to a report, former Today writer, Kevin Bleyer, sent an email to his ex-colleagues after his many complaints were supposedly ignored by NBC News president Noah Oppenheim.
In the explosive email. Bleyer claimed the environment inside Kellyâs morning show was âcompletely toxic,â and that young female assistants were constantly âabused and harassedâ by the two co-executive producers: Jackie Levin and Christine Cataldi.
âMegyn harps on about people having a voice and shining a light in dark places, so that's what Kevin did. Here's the problem, Megyn's show doesn't practice what she preaches - you do that on her show, you get fired! It's a joke,â he continued.
As Breaking Celebrity News readers know, Megyn Kelly, 47, has quickly positioned her as a spokeswoman and avid supporter of the âMe Tooâ movement. Since the Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer scandals, she has taken the stage to interview various sexual assault victims. Bleyerâs claims against her, then, come as a shock to Today fans.
In his email, Bleyer told his former NBC colleagues that Cataldi often called her assistant Katrina âan idiot.â He also said that Levin made her own female assistant complete impossible and bizarre demands. He reportedly tried to make her aware of this in the past, after which she allegedly called him a â'f***ing whiner.â
After Kevin Bleyerâs claims, NBC shared a statement of their own, claiming that both female show executives were being portrayed in a negative light, but that the rest of the show staff was completely behind them.
âThey, and the team, are fully focused on continuing the show's momentum as it continues to climb in the ratings,â assured the network.
