"Blade Runner" Oscar Pistorius broke down sobbing during his bail hearing at Pretoria Magistrate's Court in South Africa Tuesday, where prosecutors said he shot three times into the bathroom where girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp hid during a Valentine's Day screaming match.

While the Olympic hero claims the shooting was accidental, prosecutor Gerrie Nel said Steenkamp "couldn't go anywhere" in the situation.

Nel said prosecutors are seeking an enhanced premeditated murder charge against the athlete for murdering Steenkamp, a law graduate turned model, who is currently appearing on a pre-taped reality TV show airing in South Africa.
