Sandra Bullock has lost a shining light in her life.

Breaking Celebrity News has learned the actress’ beloved father passed away on Tuesday, September 18, at 10:04 p.m. after months of illness.

“Surrounded by family and friends, John W. Bullock left the building. As a father, grandfather and WWII veteran, we #thankyouforyourservice PS: Hey God, we’re sending you a live one!” Sandra’s longtime boyfriend, Bryan Randall, wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, along with a sweet photo of John.

Sadly, John Wilson Bullock’s death does not come as a surprise to Breaking Celebrity News readers, who know the beloved man had been very ill for over three years.

Back in 2015, The National ENQUIRER reported John, 93, was having severe health issues related to a farm accident that occurred in Virginia years ago. At the time, Sandra’s father was crushed by a tractor, a dreadful incident which resulted in several broke bones and other disorders.

Naturally, the Hollywood actress was “shattered” by the news of her dad’s declining health in 2015, and took it upon herself to take care of him.

Recently, however, John’s maladies began getting worse, so much so that he was rushed to a local Alabama hospital to get treatment.

“She’s already lost her mom, Helga, years ago,” a source told OK! earlier this year. “The realization that her dad’s time is running out has left her heartbroken.”

Breaking Celebrity News readers know Sandra, 54, was forced to mourn the death of her mom in 2000 after Helga’s long battle with cancer.

“It was very hard for her when she lost her mom,” an insider told Breaking Celebrity News in 2015. “Now she’s really dreading losing her dad.”

Sandra Bullock has yet to speak of her father’s devastating death.
