An autopsy is being conducted for Joel Taylor after the former Storm Chaser star died suddenly while on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Radaronline.com can report.
"The autopsy has not been completed yet. He was just brought in yesterday," Certizia Ortiz of the San Juan Medical Examiner's office confirmed to Breaking Celebrity News.
Taylor was on a seven-day Harmony of the Seas cruise that departed from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday.
On Tuesday, Joel died while the ship was docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Taylor is rumored to have suffered from a suspected overdose after partying hard on the ship, according to reports.
He was found unresponsive in his cabin on Tuesday, a rep for the cruise told Breaking Celebrity News.
"We extend our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the 38-year-old male guest from the United States who died while onboard Harmony of the Seas," A rep for the ship told Breaking Celebrity News. " As is our standard procedure, law enforcement was notified and responded to the ship when it arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Tuesday, January 23. A member of our Care Team is providing support and assistance to his family."
As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, Taylor's family left their native Oklahoma to handle matters relating to the death.
