A woman's wedding day marks a milestone, both for the bride and her parents. But when Isabella Cruise said "I do" in a surprise London ceremony, her famous father Tom Cruise was nowhere to be found, Breaking Celebrity News has learned.

Bella wed British IT consultant Max Parker in a secret ceremony that took place September 18 at The Dorchester in London, Woman's Day in Australia reports.

Notoriously private, and reportedly afraid of the press that her high profile father may draw, Bella kept her guest list limited to a small group of close friends. Her father and her brother Connor were NOT in attendance -- and there are no photos of her mother Nicole Kidman there either!

While the bride is a member of the Church of Scientology, and still attends services regularly, the groom is supposedly not a member of the faith, and reportedly has not even met Tom.

Nicole, meanwhile, is said to be "overjoyed" at her daughter's new union.

As Breaking Celebrity News has reported, Tom's busy filming schedule has made time with his other daughter Suri scarce this summer.

Then, in August, he missed out on another family event -- the funeral of his stepfather who had raised him. According to reports, the two experienced a falling out after Tom joined the Church of Scientology, and both he and Tom's mother elected to skip the memorial services.
