Kiefer Sutherland Bounces Back From Booze Bender

After being literally thrown out of a club by four bouncers during a night of heavy drinking, 24 star Kiefer Sutherland bounced back within 12 hours to tape a show with UK talk show host Jonathan Ross, Breaking Celebrity News has learned.
And it must have taken all of Kiefer’s acting skills to mask the effects of the crazy night before, which left him “drunk, disorderly and shirtless at 4 am” according to the New York Post.
But Sutherland looked clean shaven and groomed for the taping in London on Thursday -- not bad for a guy who 12 hours earlier who couldn’t walk straight and had to be helped into his room by hotel staff.
The 43-year-old star appeared on Ross’ show -- which will air Friday in the UK -- to promote his new film Twelve.
Onlookers described Sutherland as ‘absolutely screaming paralytic’ during a bender which kicked off at 10.30 pm on Wednesday and continued until 4 am.
The hell-raiser started his night at the Covent Garden Hotel and two hours later he was seen with several empty wine glasses and asking for more drinks.
Then at 2 am he was driven to Stringfellows strip club where an insider told the UK’s Sun newspaper: “He went bananas, shouting nonsense and dancing before kicking off and being asked to leave.”

By 3:35 am, Sutherland had managed to lose his shirt -- and his cool -- forcing bouncers to escort him off the premises in a headlock after a reported scuffle inside.
He was driven away and then spotted at 4 am falling to his knees and giggling in the gutter outside his hotel.

But just like action-hero Jack Bauer, Sutherland bounced back to form in time for his appointment on the show.
He spoke to talk show host Ross about spending 48 days in prison following a 2007 drink-driving charge in Los Angeles.
He said: “I made a really stupid mistake, I put a lot of things in jeopardy.
“It was awful, I was in solitary for a long time, it’s not a place you want to be.
“I was so cross with myself, it was my way of teaching myself a lesson.”
Sutherland,- who recently filmed the final episode of his hit show 24, has a history of wild behavior.
