American Idol star Fantasia Barrino was hospitalized after she attempted to commit suicide according to a North Carolina police  report,  and Breaking Celebrity News has the audio tape of the 911 call from the scene.

A male voice is heard saying: “an individual took a bottle of inaudible and she’s slowly losing consciousness.”

“Is she breathing,” the dispatcher asked. “Yes,” replied the unidentified caller.
