Newly single Courteney Cox is not dating her Cougar Town co-star Brian Van Holt, Breaking Celebrity News has learned. Despite the pair being spotted looking flirtatious together on and off the set of their hit TV show their relationship is purely platonic according to his sister.

“As far as I know they are not romantically involved,” Heather Van Holt, Brian’s sister, told Breaking Celebrity News exclusively.

“We are a very close knit family and he is usually very open with me, I’m sure he would have told me.”

Since news of their separation went public, there has been speculation that Courtney and David Arquette have an open marriage.

Brian’s sist er says he is not in a relationship currently and is focusing on his career.

“He currently doesn’t have a girlfriend,” added Heather. She did confirm Brian was in a long standing relationship until a year ago.
