Fired CNN anchorman Rick Sanchez will appear live Friday on Good Morning America in his first television interview since getting sacked for making derogatory remarks about The Daily Show's Jon Stewart.
As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, Sanchez, 52, was dumped by the network last Friday after calling Stewart a bigot during a satellite radio interview and also for making anti-Semitic remarks.
While GMA will be Sanchez's first TV interview, he did grant his first print interview Thursday to the new Website RumorFix.com, saying "I did not intend to say that, but I said it -- it's my mistake."

Sanchez also told the site, "If you screw up unintentionally, you still screwed up.
"I have to be responsible for what I do. I tell that to my kids all the time. I have to atone."
This past Wednesday, the Cuban-born journalist issued a contrite statement through his publicist:
"On October 4th, I had a very good conversation with Jon Stewart, and I had the opportunity to apologize for my inartful comments from last week. I sincerely extend this apology to anyone else whom I may have offended.
