Constantine Maroulis became a first time dad yesterday, Breaking Celebrity News has learned.

The American Idol Season 4 finalist and Tony-nominated Broadway star, and his girlfriend Angel Reed welcomed daughter Malena James into the world late Thursday night.

"Sometimes Christmas comes early and we're lucky to get the greatest gift a few days early," Maroulis told People.  "Angel and I are thrilled to welcome our perfect baby girl into the world."
