Civil rights powerhouse attorney Gloria Allred says that the judge overseeing Britney Spears' conservatorship should investigate the explosive audio tape allegations from a Star magazine cover story that has made national headlines.

"The judge can and should inquire of the conservator regarding these serious allegations," Allred told Breaking Celebrity News exclusively. "The Court can ask questions, and if the conservator refuses to answer,then the Court has the power to replace the conservator with a public guardian."
