Singer Jewel said she and her husband, rodeo cowboy Ty Murray, are expecting their first child, Breaking Celebrity News has learned.

"I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!" she told People Tuesday. "It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.'"

Murray, 41, told the magazine he's "excited," and both he and his wife "always knew we wanted to have a child, and this time in our lives feels right."
