Mel Gibson wants to strip ex-lover Oksana Grigorieva of some of her custodial rights to daughter Lucia because he claims she leaked details about their visitation schedule and secret pediatrician appointments together.

Breaking Celebrity News broke the story: Gibson told Grigorieva he could not have custody of Lucia last Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday -- as per their agreement -- because he was planning to suddenly leave California as criminal charges loomed.

The Braveheart star went to Guatemala on a charity mission to save the rain forest, before returning to face court on Friday where he entered a plea of no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from his fight with Grigorieva on January 6, last year.

The Oscar winning director/actor, 55, received a sentence of three years probation and was ordered to attend 52 weeks of counseling in a domestic violence program, as well as continue the psychological “treatment” he is already under with his doctor.

"Mel believes Oksana leaked details about his movements and he says she is not acting in the best interests of Lucia," a source close to the actor told Breaking Celebrity News.

Grigorieva, her lawyers and publicist have all denied leaking the information.

It's not the first time Gibson has used the media's reporting in his court battle with Grigorieva.
