Emotions ran high in Clearwater, Florida on Friday, when jury selection in Casey Anthony's trial was halted after a woman yelled, "She killed somebody, anyway!" in the direction of the accused murderer.

The incident went down at the Pinellas County Court, as presiding Judge Belvin Perry was talking to a possible juror when the heckler, later identified as Elizabeth Ann Rogers, piped up. (Perry subsequently excused the prospective juror.)

"I didn't know I'd get that emotional," Rogers told the judge after her outburst. "I've never been in a courtroom like this. I have a 3-year-old son. I'm very sorry. I never meant anything like this. I apologize. I will never do this again.

"I am bipolar, manic depressive, post-traumatic distress ... I'm on thorazine, and methadone. I never meant to hurt you."

Perry held Rogers in contempt of court and gave her a two-day jail sentence for her interruption. He said he'd normally have given her a heavier sentence, but didn't because of her medical condition.

The jury selection process has been relocated from Orlando to Clearwater due to the sizzling media presence surrounding the hotbed case.

The judge is aiming to wrap up the jury selection Friday; assuming he does, opening arguments are slated to commence Monday at 9:00 a.m. ET at the Orange County Court in Orlando.
