Ricki Lake is the first of the season 13 cast members to fall foul of the Dancing with the Stars curse, Breaking Celebrity News can report.

Before the premiere episode even hit our screens, Ricki suffered a painful injury Thursday during rehearsals.

The 42-year-old former talk show host twisted her ankle while practicing her moves with dance partner Derek Hough.

But, in true Ricki style, the show (or the rehearsal) must go on -- an insider exclusively told Breaking Celebrity News that after she suffered the injury an ambulance was called to the rehearsal studios but, like the total trooper she is, she refused to go to the hospital.
