It's less than a month since Joran van der Sloot was sentenced to 28 years for the murder of Stephany Flores, but the cold-hearted killer is hoping to be a free man in less than five years, Breaking Celebrity News has exclusively learned.

"He is appealing his sentence and hopes he gets parole in less than five years," an insider exclusively revealed to Breaking Celebrity News.

If van der Sloot's prediction comes true, it will mean he is a free man by 2017 and will serve a fraction of the sentence that was handed to him on January 13 after he confessed to the May 2010 killing of the 21-year-old Peruvian student.
