The woman who filed a police report against Lindsay Lohan for allegedly assaulting her at The Standard Hotel in West Hollywood, is attempting to sell her story to a celebrity magazine, Breaking Celebrity News is exclusively reporting.
As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, LiLo's new potential legal quagmire stems from a police report that a woman made to the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department on Saturday night, two nights after she says the assault happened at The Standard Hotel. "There is just one little problem with this scenario, Lindsay absolutely wasn't even at The Standard on Thursday night. This entire debacle was completely fabricated and the allegations are totally bogus. Lindsay's attorneys are LIVID, and when it's proven that this girl made up these allegations, her a** is grass," a source close to the actress told Breaking Celebrity News.
"The woman has reached out to at least one celebrity magazine to try and sell her story about the alleged assault," a source close to the situation tells Breaking Celebrity News. "The woman contacted the magazine on Friday before news broke that she had even filed the police report. The woman filed the police report on Saturday, two days after she claimed Lohan assaulted her. Lindsay's camp believes the only reason the woman filed the police report was because the magazine wouldn't buy her story without it. Needless to say, Lindsay's lawyers have put the fear of God into the magazine that was contacted by the woman proclaiming they will sue the publication if the story is published because Lindsay absolutely maintains she was never even at The Standard Hotel last week."
Just two weeks ago, Lohan, 25, was taken off of formal probation by Judge Stephanie Sautner, after successfully completing community service at the morgue. However, Lohan remains on informal probation for the next two and a half years for her no contest plea in her misdemeanor necklace theft case.
Lindsay's publicist, Steve Honig tells Breaking Celebrity News, "Whomever is responsible for this lie will be held accountable for their misguided actions."
