Michelle Obama, appearing on The Colbert Report Wednesday, joked with host Stephen Colbert she might pull the popularity card the next time she clashes with her husband, President Barack Obama.

"You are popular," Colbert told the stunning first lady. "Do you lord over the president the fact that you're more popular than he is? Do you ever say, like, 'Hey, watch it or I might not campaign for you?'"

The affable beauty joked she "might try that when she gets home!"

Colbert then threw the 48-year-old mother-of-two a softball, asking her if she was officially endorsing her hubby in the upcoming election.

"I am endorsing my husband Barack Obama," she said. "I think he will be a phenomenal president: he has been a phenomenal president. He's my man."

Michelle appeared on the show to promote Joining Forces, the pro-military program she developed a year ago.
