Nicollette Sheridan's wrongful termination lawsuit against ABC, and the creators of Desperate Housewives, has been scheduled for a re-trial to begin in September, after the jury in the first trial was unable to reach a verdict, Breaking Celebrity News is reporting.

As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, a mistrial was declared after the jury became deadlocked, 8-4, in favor of the former star of the hit ABC show.

Sheridan, 48, filed a lawsuit against the show’s creator, Marc Cherry and ABC, claiming she was fired from the show after telling executives that Cherry had hit her -- a charge he has always vehemently denied. During the trial, the judge dismissed the battery claim against Cherry, leaving the wrongful termination claim for the jury to consider.

Judge Elizabeth Allen White set the re-trial date for September 10, 2012. Sheridan is seeking $4 million in damages.
