The young woman who suffered life-changing injuries during an accident on the set of Transformers 3 has finally reached a settlement with Paramount to the tune of $18.5 million, Breaking Celebrity News has learned.

Gabriela Cedillo's family filed a lawsuit against Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks Studios after she was hurt on September 1, 2010 while working as an extra in Chicago on the film — when a cable towing a car snapped and whipped through her car window, striking her in the head.

The 26-year-old — who was 24 at the time — underwent traumatic brain surgery following the accident ultimately mounting extensive medical bills at Loyola Hospital, which Paramount told attorney Todd A. Smith they were going to pay, but never did.

Gabriela sustained permanent brain damage.

Last February the family's attorney told Breaking Celebrity News: "She's still going through rehabilitation, multiple sessions per week, to try and gain back whatever functions she's going to have. She's very weak; she's got a lot of cognitive deficits.
