Katy Perry Defends Kim Kardashian Marriage, ‘Nobody Knows What Really Happened’

Katy Perry is coming to Kim Kardashian’s defense!
The sassy singer, who is about to expose her personal life and the demise of her marriage to British comedian Russell Brand in the upcoming concert-documentary Part of Me, defends the reality bombshell in the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter – and Breaking Celebrity News has the details.
“Nobody knows what really happened except the two people who are in it,” Perry explains, likening her ill-fated union with Brand to Kim’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.
Perry’s upcoming film, which she spent $2 million of her own money to finance, will feature the struggles of continuing her tour while dealing with her failed relationship.
“There were times when what was going on in my personal life was so overwhelming that I had to bend over to let those tears fall straight out of my eyes and not my false lashes just as I’m about to go up on that ramp and sing Teenage Dream,” she dishes.
