On the three year anniversary of DJ AM’s drug overdose death, Travis Barker is paying homage to his dear friend.

The Blink 182 drummer, who survived the tragic 2008 plane crash that took the lives of four other people with the famous DJ, took to his Twitter to honor his dear friend, even crediting him with his own sobriety, and Breaking Celebrity News has the details.

“Rest in Peace/Power 2 my brotha DJAM,” the musician tweeted about his friend, whose real name was Adam Goldstein, on Tuesday. “Been 3 years it still feels like yesterday. Miss rockin/kickin' it hearing u drop knowledge.”

Barker, who revealed to The Red Bulletin in July that he had been drug-free for several months, also shared that AM attempted to get him clean before his untimely passing.
