During a status hearing in the ongoing bitter divorce battle between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, the NBA star's lawyer told the judge they had been unsuccessful in attempting to serve subpoenas for the reality star's boyfriend, Kanye West and momager, Kris Jenner to be deposed, Breaking Celebrity News is reporting.

Media reports circulated Wednesday morning that the hearing would be "d-day" for Humphries, and that the judge would set a date for the divorce trial, despite the fact that Kim hasn't been deposed yet. Instead, the judge set another status report hearing for November 28, 2012.

"Kris is prepared to see this through to the end and for him that means a very public trial. Kris wants Kanye West and Kris Jenner to be deposed under oath. Kris isn't intimidated by Kim or her lawyer, Laura Wasser. Kim's deposition will likely take place in the next several weeks, it's just a matter of coordinating everyone's calendars," a source close to the situation tells Breaking Celebrity News.
