Congratulations to Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish!

After hinting in August that she and her director boyfriend of more than a year had gotten engaged, the actress finally officially confirmed the good news on her WhoSay page Tuesday, flaunting her stunning diamond engagement ring and Breaking Celebrity News has the details.

“This photo was taken by my husband-to-be!” Kate wrote.  “Thank you for all the wonderful engagement wishes…We feel truly blessed.”

The couple, who met on the set of Big Sur, was first spotted together in August 2011 at a Coldplay concert in Los Angeles, shortly after Kate split with her on-again-off-again beau Alexander Skarsgard.

Kate, who has a jewelry company JewelMint, scored a simple, square-cut solitaire diamond ring from her husband-to-be.
