Republican candidate Mitt Romney's wife Ann Romney will be filling in for Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts while she is out on sick leave, Breaking Celebrity News has learned.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ann will join the GMA gang as a co-host for their Wednesday, October 10 show and it was booked as far back as last summer.

First Lady Michelle Obama is also reportedly in talks with ABC to co-host an episode of Good Morning America, but they're struggling to find an opening in her busy schedule.

Ann will join George Stephanopoulos, Josh Elliott, Sam Champion and Lara Spencer on the morning show panel.

As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, Robin is responding well to her bone marrow transplant but is not expected to return to work until next year.

"Robin is doing great and her blood tests are indicating that in the very early stages of receiving the bone marrow transplant to treat her MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome) her body is recovering well,"  a source close to Robin told Breaking Celebrity News exclusively.
