Details are still emerging in the suspected murder-suicide mystery of Sons Of Anarchy star Johnny Lewis, and the latest revelation is that the troubled actor could have been on a new designer drug called 'Smiles' when he allegedly strangled his landlady and bludgeoned her cat to death.
It will take the Los Angeles County Coroner's office several more weeks to get the drug tests back to determine a cause of death for the 28-year-old, and Breaking Celebrity News can reveal that many of the latest deadly chemical compounds aren't even detectable yet.
"Most of these chemicals can not be tested for, and that’s a problem," DEA spokesperson Barbara Carreno told Breaking Celebrity News in an exclusive interview. "There is a big hole in the statistics and they are just not caught up yet, a lot of the information on these synthetics is still anecdotal."
Lewis' erratic behavior in Thursday's fatal attack where he allegedly murdered 81-year-old Catherine Davis before jumping or falling from a balcony to his death is consistent with the affects of 2C-B, commonly known as Smiles, according to the LAPD, who have recently seen a rise in the number of overdoses in Los Angeles.
