Melissa Gorga is out of legal trouble!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has lucked out because her charges for shoplifting in Florida have been dismissed and Breaking Celebrity News has exclusively learned that there is no longer a warrant out for her arrest!

As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, Melissa Marco was arrested on July 16, 1997 for “retail theft” in Palm Beach, Florida when she was only 18 and she never appeared in court to settle the matter and the warrant was issued.

Melissa didn’t request the dismissal personally, but after Breaking Celebrity News reported the outstanding warrant the county closed the case under an Administrative Order, which allows any misdemeanor that has had no activity for five years to be dismissed.

The charges were dismissed on October 10, 2012, Kathy Burnstein, the PIO for Palm Beach County, told Breaking Celebrity News and confirmed that the warrant for her arrest has been dismissed as well.
