Anne Hathaway and Samuel L. Jackson offer up some Christmas cheer in a hilarious new skit from the guys and girls at Funny or Die, and Breaking Celebrity News has the video!

The two compete in an epic "Sad Off" to unearth which star has the more depressing movie being released during the Holiday season.

Jackson, stars in the new Quentin Tarantino brutal slavery flick Django Unchained – while Hathaway, appears as a disease-riddled prostitute in the musical Les Miserables.

The pair present their dreary cases expertly – and it's hard to call a winner!

Jackson barks: "You try being a black man in the south in the 1800s. I bet you couldn't handle being a black man in the south right now!"

Hathaway retorts: "When there's a French [expletive] in the White House, then we can talk," to which Jackson responds: "You say that like there's never been a French [expletive] in the White House.
