As the bitter feud between Emily Maynard and her daughter's grandparents continues to rage, Breaking Celebrity News has learned exclusive details about the lengths the parents of Maynard's late fiancé went to in their bid to secure her future wellbeing.
Long before she was The Bachelorette, Maynard was a single mother working hard to support her young daughter, and it appears she received a large helping hand from the very people she is now battling with, as not only did her daughter's grandparents pull strings to get her a job, they also offered to secretly pay her salary!
According to a well placed insider, after Emily's fiancé Ricky Hendrick tragically died in a plane crash while she was pregnant with their daughter Ricki, his parents, Linda and Rick Hendrick, vowed to make sure their grandchild would be taken care of.
"Mr. and Mrs. Hendrick both donated and raised a lot of money for the Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte so one day Rick went in and asked his close friend, who was one of the bosses, if they would give Emily a job," the insider says.
