Jessica Simpson Urging Mom Tina To Start Dating Again After Dad's Gay Scandal

Jessica Simpson is getting her own TV pilot and while the show is a comedy based on her life, behind closed doors there is plenty of real-life drama. In the aftermath of her parents divorcing, Jessica is pushing mom Tina to start dating, Breaking Celebrity News has learned exclusively.
The singer-turned-fashion designer believes her 52-year-old mother should embrace single life and let men wine and dine her, especially after the trauma of enduring Joe Simpson's gay scandal.
But there’s a catch… Jessica, 32 and pregnant with her second child, wants to screen the prospective suitors to make sure they’re good enough for Tina!
Hmm…could this be a Kardashian-like plot line where the line between reality and TV becomes impossible to see?
Jessica's new show is a scripted comedy but it is inspired by her life so Tina's adventures could make their way on to the small screen. Either way Jessica wants her mom to build a new life.
But don't expect dad's personal problems to be scripted — Joe is one of the producers! As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported he was caught in relationships with men, ending his marriage.
“Jessica thinks it’s about time Tina started enjoying herself and has urged her to date,” a source close to the Simpson family told Breaking Celebrity News.
“She thinks it’s the best way to get over her heartbreak with Joe and she needs to get out there and meet other men.
