Britney Spears' dogs were taken from her home earlier this month, sparking the alleged battery incident between the singer and her housekeeper that is now being investigated.
The 39-year-old pop star dog sitter and housekeeper have allegedly accused Britney of neglecting her pets and removed the dogs from her Thousand Oaks, CA mansion after one of the pups fell sick.

Britney's dog sitter allegedly took her two dogs to the vet two weeks ago but never returned them. Sources claim the sitter — who is also a nurse — believed the pets weren't safe at the Grammy winner's home.
On August 10 — days before the alleged altercation took place between Britney and her housekeeper — Spears called the Ventura County Sheriff's Office to report an alleged theft.
