Seems as if there's a bit of friction between the Material Girl and the Rocket Man.

Musical icons Madonna and Elton John tangled in a war of words on the red carpet at Sunday's 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, and Breaking Celebrity News has all the scoop for you.

The two musical legends were nominated against one another in the category, Best Original Song in a Motion Picture: Madonna for “Masterpiece” in W.E.; and Elton for “Hello Hello” from Gnomeo & Juliet.

During a red carpet interview with Carson Daly, Elton, flanked by partner David Furnish, said that "Madonna doesn't have a f***ing chance" to win the category.

"Those are fighting words," Daly told Elton, who
